Will I Receive an Automatic Refund For a Cancelled Or Rescheduled Event?
All refund policies are decided by the host school or event organizer. To process a refund, HomeTown’s policy requires the event organizer to submit the request directly on your behalf. It is at the discretion of the event organizer to refund tickets for a canceled event or transfer tickets if an event is rescheduled.
Hometown recommends contacting the event organizer directly for further details on their policies.
If the Event is Rescheduled
The event host may choose to honor existing tickets for the rescheduled event.
The event host may choose to automatically send new tickets for the rescheduled event. These new tickets would be sent to the email address provided in the original order.
If the Event is Not Rescheduled
If a refund is processed, an email confirmation will be sent out. From the processing date, it can take approximately 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect.
If you do not hear from your event organizer within a week, Hometown recommends you contact the event organizer directly for a status update on their decision.
